Another day, another Pixel 4 leak. Google's upcoming premium budget smartphone has been a subject of endless leaks in the past couple of months. From the alleged gaming reviews to features to the technical specifications, there is hardly any detail that has not been revealed by the stream of reports in the past couple of months. Now fresh new images of the Google Pixel 4 XL smartphone have surfaced online.
However, unlike older images, these high resolution images give a clearer view of the upcoming Google Pixel 4 XL smartphone from all angles. And admitedelly they reveal nothing new. The Pixel 4 XL smartphone has a thick bezel on top with thin chin at the bottom and extremely thin bezels on the sides. It comes with a Black coloured chassis which features a matte finish. The phone has been carved out of glass and the back panel has a matter texture to it which is a "lot smoother to touch", Nextrift, the site which caught hold of the phone, revealed.
There is also a Smooth Display feature, which was first brought to light by 9To5 Google in a report last month, which "dynamically adjusts the refresh rate between 60Hz and 90Hz". Though it remains uncertain if 90Hz regresh rate is the default setting.
In terms of technical details, the blog, which run its diagnotic tests on the phone, revealed that the Pixel 4 XL would come with 6.23-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 3040 x 1440 pixels. It runs on older Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 process with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal memory. The phone also has a 12.2MP primary camera at the back and an 8.1MP front camera. There is no word on the details pertaining to the secondary camera of the phone.
The report also noted that the functions pertaining to the Soli radar chip don't function in the model that they caught hold of yet and that the camera app was also buggy. Google hasn't launched the Pixel 4 smartphones yet and so it is entirely possible that the blogsite got one of the prototypes in its possession. However, with the new images aligning with the banner shared by Google at the Times Square in New York, there is little left to doubt.
