Both the mid-range smartphones tout premium glass designs, waterdrop displays and triple rear cameras. The Nokia 7.2 was expected to come to India in September while the Nokia 6.2 will release some time next month.

Much like the Nokia 7.1, the Nokia 7.2 also gets a premium glass and metal design language. The phone comes with Gorilla Glass 3 on the front and back and an aluminium frame in between. The glass rear panel gets a triple camera setup arranged in a circular module. The display now gets a waterdrop notch instead of a wide notch. The Nokia 7.2 also gets a dedicated Google Assistant button.
Talking about the display, the Nokia 7.2 comes with a 6.3-inch FHD+ PureDisplay screen with a waterdrop notch. PureDisplay is a technology that has been used by HMD in phones like the Nokia 7.1 and Nokia 8.1 previously. It offers a higher contrast and wider dynamic range compared to regular LCD displays. It also comes a feature that can SDR videos to HDR in real time.
The cameras have been upgraded with the Nokia 7.2 now getting a triple camera setup on the back. The system includes a 48MP sensor which uses Samsung's 48-megapixel GM1 sensor for high-resolution photos along with a wide-angle lens and depth sensor.
Nokia 7.2 is an Android One device that ships with stock and clean Android 9 Pie. HMD Global says the Nokia 7.2 is Android 10-ready and will be among the first devices to get updated to Android 10.
